Ana Blanco Pérez

With a degree in Biology and Biochemistry, she completed in 2016 her PhD at the University of Santiago de Compostela in the area of Molecular Medicine. She has developed her research career in the Galician Public Foundation for Genomic Medicine in the area of Oncogenetics, mainly in the study of hereditary susceptibility to develop breast and/or ovarian cancer. Currently, she has a contract as a high technical of research support for the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness collaborating in the implementation of NGS diagnostic of hereditary breast and/or ovarian cancer using Targeted Resequencing, as well as the identification of candidate genes and the classification of variants of unknown significance.
